Prevention and energy backup are thus consolidated as pillars for the continuity and efficiency of the industrial sector in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The state of Quer\u00e9taro has experienced several power outages in recent months, mainly due to <a href=\"https:\/\/grupoindustronic.com\/en\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-thunderstorms\/\"><b>heavy rains and storms<\/b><\/a>. However, other factors such as the imbalance between energy supply and demand, together with failures in the current electrical infrastructure, are also affecting industrial productivity in this and other regions of Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, it is important that directors, area managers, and personnel in charge of industrial plants understand the causes of these failures and implement mitigation strategies that ensure operational continuity and asset protection.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 16pt;\">What caused the blackout in Quer\u00e9taro?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Official statements from the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) explained that the power outages in more than six states since October 9 were due to heavy rains and winds.
